ZEBRAS
Zebras are common throughout East and Southern Africa. Zebras are grazers and can eat twice their own body weight in a single day, and gather in huge migratory herds. No two zebras have exactly the same stripe pattern. Their pattern is as unique as a finger print. Zebras communicate with Braying, Barking, and whinnying. They also signify their mood with their ears. Zebras and Wildebeests migrate together because Zebras unlike Wildebeest have great memory for safe passage ways to migrate. Zebras have adapted to being prey to other animals, Zebras have larger more round ears than horses. They also see in color and have a better sense of smell.

That's right you read it right, lionesses not lions. the Males do not hunt for food they send the females out to bring back dinner. Lion populations are dwindling, but you will see them in reserves. Lions live in prides (unlike other cats) so they are easy to spot. Adaptations help the lionesses hunt. Lions have sharp teeth and claws witch hep then catch their prey. They also have whiskers, which help the lion sense it's surroundings. the tan color of it's fur blends into the tall savanna grass, an allows the lion to blend in.

The giraffe neck contains special veins and blood valves to stop the giraffe from blacking out when it drinks. In one minute, a giraffes heart can pump 160 gallons (600 liters) of blood. When in packs, hyenas are very effective and can isolate an animal that is most likely ill. Spotted hyenas are very vocal and make an array of sounds, including the " laugh" that is associated with their name. A hyenas average life span in the wild is 25 years.
